Public Safety Career Information
This public safety career information website is a collaborative program between the community colleges in California that have public safety courses. The goal is to provide a free, centralized web resource for anyone who is looking for answers about how to get into the public safety profession. Let us help you reach your goals by demystifying the course requirements for either certificates or degrees.

Academic Programs
Community colleges have both general education courses as well as specific coursework designed for either a certificate or degree. Many of these courses transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Some agencies do require either a 2 or 4 year degree.
